GOODWILL OF ORANGE COUNTY ANNOUNCES
NEW CHAIRMAN TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

(SANTA ANA) - Goodwill of Orange County is pleased to announce the appointment of K. Brian Horton to Chairman of its Board of Directors. In his new role, Horton will provide executive oversight and governance as well as develop strategic alliances throughout the community.

Horton is currently the President of 1st Enterprise Bank, a full service commercial bank serving Southern California. In his role at Goodwill, Horton is also the Chair of the Executive and Executive Compensation Committees and previously served as Treasurer of the Board, Chair of the Audit Committee and has served as a member for more than ten years.

Joining Horton on the executive committee are, David L. DeFilippo, Vice Chairman, John Heffernan, Treasurer and Cheryl Barrett, Secretary.

Other recent board of director appointment includes new members, Samuel Anderson, an active community leader with an extensive professional background in biosciences and, Michael Perry, a Vice President and Account Executive at DLD Insurance Brokers in Irvine. Most recently Perry served on the Goodwill Invitational event committee.
