Goodwill OC is committed to sustainability, in fact, our entire model is based on preventing products from going to waste and keeping materials in use and at their highest value for as long as possible. As a zero-waste organization, Goodwill OC diverts 92% of all goods we are entrusted with from landfills, ensuring that they are reused, recycled, or repurposed. In 2023 alone, Goodwill OC diverted more than 55 million pounds of goods from local landfills, with 55% of all donations sold through retail avenues and 19.8% recovered through our recycling division.
