Now Open at the Orange County Fairgrounds, Accepting Donations Every Thursday
COSTA MESA, Calif. – March 17, 2025 – Goodwill of Orange County opened its newest Donation Center at the Costa Mesa Farmers Market this month. Located at the Orange County Fairgrounds at 88 Fair Drive, Lot D, the new donation center is now open every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing a new convenient drop-off location for gently used items.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, March 6 to officially open the nonprofit’s newest donation collection point.
“Donations are the lifeblood of our organization; they provide the fuel for our mission work to connect people with meaningful career opportunities,” said Nicole Suydam, President and CEO, Goodwill of Orange County. “We are proud to establish this donation site here at the Orange County Fairgrounds and give the many generous donors in the community and surrounding areas another easy location to make their donations.”
As a nonprofit employment social enterprise, donations continue to be the cornerstone for the organization and its ability to serve more 25,000 individuals annually through comprehensive workforce development programs. Each donation supports Goodwill OC’s mission to empower individuals through personal support, work experience, and career development.
The Costa Mesa Farmers Market Donation Center is Goodwill OC’s 27th donation outpost in the community and another step toward its bold goal to double its impact and footprint in Orange County.
In May 2025, Goodwill OC will also open a new store in the city of Costa Mesa, located on Harbor Blvd. and Peterson Pl. in the former ACE Hardware location.
